Reorder PDF Pages
Put a PDF's pages into a different order by typing the sequence you want. It is the fix for a scan that came out back to front, or a document assembled in the wrong order — you write the new order once and the tool rebuilds the file to match it exactly.

How to reorder the pages in a PDF
- Select your PDF file.
- Type the new page order, like 3,1,2,4 or 5-8,1-4.
- Download the PDF in that exact order.
When you'd use this
- Reversed scans — A stack fed into a scanner the wrong way up comes out last page first.
- Wrongly assembled files — A merged PDF where one section ended up in the wrong place.
- Moving a cover or summary — Bringing the summary page to the front of a report.
- Two-pass double-sided scans — Fronts and backs scanned separately and needing to be combined properly.
Good to know
- Type the full order you want — List every page position in sequence, for example 3, 1, 2. Any position you leave out will not appear in the new file.
- Reversing is just counting down — For a ten-page document, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 flips the whole thing.
- Nothing is re-encoded — Pages are moved as complete objects, so selectable text and image quality are both preserved.
- The source file stays put — You get a new PDF; the original is unchanged on your device.

What if I don't list every page?
You'll get a clear message naming the missing page — every page has to appear exactly once.
Can I move a whole range of pages at once?
Yes — write a range like 5-8,1-4 to move pages 5 through 8 to the front.
Do I have to list every page?
Only if you want to keep them all — any position you leave out simply will not appear. That makes this a quick way to reorder and drop pages in a single step.
Is there a drag-and-drop version?
Not on this page. Typing the order is faster for long documents and behaves identically on a phone, where dragging page thumbnails around is fiddly.
Can I reorder and rotate at the same time?
Not in one pass. Reorder first, then run the finished file through Rotate PDF.
